We’re looking for someone to take over our second hand uniform service. This has been running for many years and is of huge benefit to all pupils and families involved in the school. We would be happy to help with the possibility of digitising some of this service for the new owner.

Requirements include:
- Willingness to help dancers and their families save money on the purchase of good quality dance wear and shoes.
- Dedication to the supply of items on a once weekly basis by delivering ordered items (and collecting returns) to a venue of convenience to you.
- Ability to respond to between 0 & 10 requests for uniform/shoes per week, providing details of stock item availability.
- Storage space to accommodate and manage x4 large Ikea bags of stock (photo attached/to follow). All have been assessed for suitability for re-sale and sorted into grade and size. I will also supply an up to date excel document stock sheet via e-mail.
This is honestly a really nice voluntary role, you will be helping your child’s dancing community and will save money on your own dancer’s uniform costs, if your dancer is young, and dances into his/her teens, this will run into hundreds of pounds. Each item (with the exception of character skirts) is currently priced at £4.00 but you are free to manage that in any way you wish.
It’s nice to give something back to the Community and this role doesn’t dominate. I managed it with three children/teenagers and a job that demanded in excess of 45 hours (including shift work) per week for almost 5 years.
